Celtic have revealed pre-tax profits of £17.3m and have broken the £100m barrier in terms of turnover, with chief executive Peter Lawwell insisting that the club will continue to back Brendan Rodgers. The club’s wage bill is up by £7m per annum while £87m of the club’s £101m turnover goes on wages, bills and running costs. “Building on the remarkable Invincible season last year, the club made history again this year by winning the double Treble for the first time in Scottish football history,” said Lawwell.
